The 2008 Kalamazoo, Michigan Flood, Page 2 of 7: Downtown Kalamazoo - Flooding Around Methodist Bronson Hospital

The images on this page were taken in downtown Kalamazoo near the east side of Bronson Hospital on September 15, 2008.  Although the flooding did not directly effect the Emergency/ Trauma entrance to the hospital, the flooding from the Portage and Axtell creeks did make it especially difficult for people to get to that part of the hospital from the south because all of the routes were cut off.  The flood waters did not even begin to recede from this area until the following weekend.
