The images on this page were taken along S. Rose St. around
Crosstown Park. I took the
first picture on
Monday, October 6, 2008 (more than two weeks after the floodwaters
receded) to show what
the street looks like under normal
conditions. The remaining pictures were taken on Monday,
September 15, 2008 (one day after the heavy rain from the remnants of
Hurricane Ike stopped) as the
flooding from Axtell Creek overwhelmed S. Rose St. just to the north of
Stockbridge
